Easy dips are always in demand because no one wants to spend hours trying to make this appetizer.   Cream cheese recipes are always popular and not necessarily healthy.

So, here is a dip that you can make using light cream cheese.  It is “healthier” than the regular cream cheese and adding strong ingredients to it can really bring out its flavor.

I used radishes because they are so underused in dip recipes.  Am I wrong?  Radish add spice to a dip without overpowering it.  I know many people who cannot handle a simple jalapeno.  For those with a low tolerance to spicy foods, they can enjoy this delicious recipe.

For this radish dip, pistachios added a wonderful texture and flavor.  I use Pistachios to the point where I feel like I put it in every single meal.  Water is the only thing I cannot put pistachios into.  However, if there is pistachio flavored water, I will be the first in line to buy it.

The final ingredient to bring everything together is the capers.  They are so terrific in this recipe and I put them in at the last minute.  I wanted something a little bitter but didn’t think lime juice would be enough.  As I rummaged through all the bottles in the door of my fridge, they jumped at me as the perfect ingredient to add to the dip.

  1. I used to live in Paris and the radish is revered in Paris! They love it so much that they will serve it simply whole with a little salt as an appetizer. I always found it a little unexciting, but this dip I could get excited about!
