Ingredients

For The Smoothie

  • 8 oz Crushed Pineapple 1 can, used the juice that came with the pineapple
  • 1 Jalapeno Deseeded, see notes
  • 7 Mint Leaves Fresh is better
  • 1/2 tsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 1/8 tsp Salt Optional
  • 2.5 Tbsp Agave
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Water Optional
  • 1.5 Tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Flaxseed Meal
  • 2.5 Tbsp Water
  • 3/4 Banana Medium Ripe
  • 3 Ice Cubes
  • 1 Date Optional
  • 1 Tbsp Matcha Powder

For Garnish

  • 1 tsp Pomegranate Seeds
  • 1/4 Banana Cut into rounds
  • 1/2 tsp Hemp Seeds
  • Mint Leaves Optional

Instructions

  • Cut the jalapeno into half and remove the seeds
  • In a blender, add the deseeded jalapeno
  • Add all the remaining smoothie ingredients
  • Blend on medium until everything is well blended
  • Transfer to a glass and garnish
  • Serve this spicy pineapple smoothie immediately

Notes

- I used 1 whole jalapeno and the remaining ingredients are measured for it.  If you are not keen on spicy food, adjust ingredients to your taste
- This recipe will taste just as delicious without the jalapeno.  It will be a pineapple smoothie.
