I use Greek seasoning in this recipe, which can be strong flavored if you haven't had it before. Feel free to go with just pepper instead.
Cottage cheese is optional
The Greek yogurt is the main contributor to the creamy texture of this recipe. I only use plain Greek yogurt because it doesn't come with added sugars.
This is also a great make-ahead appetizer and serve it the following day or up to 5 days after.
I like serving this chilled, but, you can serve it right out of the food processor.
Use a grinder type of food processor because it contains dual blade system.
Crumbled feta will make your life easier in this recipe because it's less work. However, if you can't find crumbled, use the block feta. Roughly chop it before blending.
