Puff Pastry
Thaw according to instructions
1/2
cup
Raspberries
frozen or fresh
3
slices
Brie Cheese
cut them into rectangle shapes
1
Tbsp
Agave
1
tsp
brown sugar
2
drops
Vanilla essence
1
Tbsp
vegan butter
melted, for basting
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
While the puff pastry is thawing, prepare the filling items
In a mixing bowl, add the raspberries, agave, brown sugar and vanilla essence
Mix well
Set it aside for a few minutes
Once the puff pastry is thawed, use cookie cutters to get the shape you want
Place one heart shape on a flat surface
Layer with the brie first
Place the Popsicle stick at the halfway mark
Add about 2-3 raspberries
Close with the second puff pastry
Seal by pressing down on the edges using the tip of a fork
Brush the top side with melted butter
Gently flip it over and brush the other side with butter
Place on a baking sheet
Continue the process for the rest of the puff pastry cut-outs
Place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until brown
Remove from the oven and let it cool.
Serve immediately
Notes
Shelf life: about 1 week. Or refrigerate for about 2 weeks
