Do not thaw

Instructions
In a pan, add the olive oil. Alternatively, you can put all the ingredients into a slow cooker.
Add cumin seeds and heat for 20 seconds
Add onions and garlic. Saute for about 30 seconds
Add baby carrots, frozen spinach and salt. Stir
Add Chick peas, orzo and tomato sauce. Cook for about a minute
Add water and mix well. Lower the heat to medium-low
Add mint (if using) dried basil, dried oregano and dried parsley
Add salt, cayenne pepper and ground pepper
Simmer for 1 hour or until the orzo have doubled in size, stirring often
Remove from heat and add lime juice
Serve immediately
