Notes
NUTRITION INFO IS APPROXIMATE#1 For the salt, if you are using a store bought Za'atar, please adjust the salt amount this recipe. That's because store bought za'atar has salt in it already. My Za'atar recipe doesn't have salt which is why I have 1.5tsp of salt in this recipe. #2 If you don’t like almonds, you can use pistachios, pine nuts or cashews in this recipe. Add them when you are ready to serve. #3 If you are using these Brussels sprouts in a meal prep, undercook them by cooking them for only 7 minutes. This way, you can cook them fully when you are ready to eat. Otherwise, you might have a rubbery sprout!#4 Always use glass containers for leftovers or make ahead meals. Not only is it great convenience because you can put them in the oven directly, but they are also better for your health. Plastics material tends to seep into the food.#5 I highly recommend covering the bowl and let it sit aside after adding the salt and za'atar. It will flavor the sprouts inside out.#6 Layout the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the sheet pan. That means no stacking of one sprout over the other. This way, the sprouts will cook evenly and at the exact same time.
